About us
We are a Non Profit Organization created to help and empower the children in Uganda. We help by giving these children the means for a better life through education and psycho-social support. Our schools and rescue programs are currently helping needy children in Mbale.
We believe that it is up to the next generation to break the cycle, and unify a continent whose unfathomable potential has been locked for over a century. Our curriculum focuses on inspiring a sense of purpose in the hearts of each child by teaching them one person can be the difference. Not only do we hope to expand our schools across Africa, but more importantly, to spread the project's philosophy.
Taata Kids has been founded in 2004 in Namakwekwe by Abraham Robert Kintu. The NGO can be found in the NGO Board of the Ugandan International Affairs Ministry.
We are currently working with more than twenty teachers and three hundred children.
